A Very Merry Christmas!

Posted by Unknown

We're 17 weeks today, and the babies received so much love during December! Our last appointment was December 23, and everyone is still doing great. Our past two Christmases were very difficult. It was hard to get into the spirit when experiencing the loss of two babies. God has been showing us it's all about His timing though, and this Christmas we were genuinely able to focus on family, friends, and these three blessings.

Before Christmas Break even started, my colleagues in the English Department at work surprised us with an early Christmas baby shower! I've had a sinus infection and wasn't feeling great, but they made my day with this wonderful celebration. Going to work each day is easier when I am surrounded by such amazing people.

There is never a dull moment when celebrating with our sweet family either. Our nephew Cam is determined to name one of the triplets "Shemp" after one of the Stooges. Our other two nephews, Tyler and Eli, have agreed to babysit for ten dollars an hour per baby, and our niece Maeve is okay with the triplets as long as they don't plan on sleeping in her bed. I can't post all the wonderful gifts the triplets were showered with, so I decided to share a few from their Aunt Brandi and Aunt Julie!

Their first Bibles and three precious lambs for three precious blessings!

Their attire for their first tailgate! Go Dawgs!

Sweet onesies that will remind us all that even though these triplets may be a lot alike, each one will be unique! Each one will be special! Each one will be loved!

This is my first post, so I would like to give a special thank you to Tommy for getting this blog started. He has been THE BEST through all of this. He's a great husband and will be a great dad!

For every individual who has played a part in this amazing journey so far, Tommy and I are extremely grateful! We are thankful for all of your love and prayers.

Stay tuned for the gender reveal coming January 6!

Love you all!

12 Weeks to be Thankful

Posted by Tom

We met with the high risk doctor yesterday. The babies are doing wonderful. Everyone is measuring the right size for this gestational period. With each visit, all three are becoming more and more active. It's funny to watch them kick and jump around. With Thanksgiving coming tomorrow, there is so much that Kim and I are thankful for. Three little reminders of God's love and the fact that miracles do happen. I leave you guys with a few new pictures.

"See you guys next time!

Happy Turkey Day to All!

10 Weeks -n- 5 Days

Posted by Tom

Our babies are doing well. All three are measuring right in line with the pregnancy. Two are at 10 weeks and 4 days and one is 10 weeks and 5 days. All three were very active kicking and punching and spinning around in their sacs. This activity was making it hard to get the right angle for pictures and measurements. Nevertheless, we did get a few shots. Kim is still fighting the nausea and has gotten a cold. I guess the good Georgia weather in October/November is to blame with 70 degrees one day and 50 the next. Stay tuned... Turkey Day is coming soon.

Cheers!

Halloween - All Treats, no Tricks

Posted by Tom

Well, today we went for our 8 week checkup. Kim and I both had been feeling anxious for days. Our previous two pregnancies fell apart at the 8 week mark, so our nerves were shot this week. To our delight, all three babies are doing just fine. All three have strong heartbeats and are perfect size for their age (8 weeks, 4 days to be exact). Kim is doing just fine too. Her nausea has subsided a little, but the tiredness is still running strong. A few more weeks with Dr. S and then we are released to Kim's OBGYN and we will begin seeing a high risk doctor (necessary for being pregnant with triplets). All is well in the McCullers' house tonight and God has been good to us. We are so thankful for the blessings that He has given.

Below are the latest pictures of our trio. Baby B was facing the camera, while A is a profile shot facing left and C is a profile shot facing right.

Happy Halloween!
Cheers!

Who said three's a crowd?!

Posted by Tom

On September 30th we found out that we are pregnant! Thrills and excitement! Kim and I feel this is our time. God has answered our prayers! Little did we know how much God has in store for us. Our first U/S was on October 17th, and it revealed one of the greatest joys of our lives... TRIPLETS!! The fraternal triplets - A, B, & C all had strong heartbeats and great sizes to be 6w4d. Kim and the babies are doing well. Kim has had a lot of nausea with carrying three babies. The tiredness factor has kicked in as well. I think the latest she has stayed up this week has been 8:30 pm. I love her and the babies to pieces, so get your rest honey!

Even though there has been a lot of ups and downs along the way, we (Kim and I) wanted to share our story to encourage others to never give up. Lean on God! He will provide a way.

Stay tuned as we update our pregnancy journey.

Cheers!
